Target held a Grand Opening for their new Hilo, Hawai’i location. The new store anchors the Maka’ala Center along with Safeway. The store employees over 300 people in Hilo, and is sure to being an economic boost to East Hawaii.
The Grand Opening featured free shave ice, pictures with the Target mascot, and new store pricing on select items. If you’re a Starbucks fan, there is an instore Starbucks location in Target, as well A’s the neighboring Safeway.
Target has done a great job with this store opening.

if only they would build a costco, i’d go to hilo a lot more often!
